Today we finished watching Midway documentary "Yamamoto vs. Nimitz"...then went to the library and you were to have gone through the Animated Map for the Battle of Midway...if you did not finish, do so at home tonight...

You were given the reading materials depicting details of the battle yesterday...Tuesday, Jan. 5...THERE WILL BE A QUIZ ON THE READING PACKET WHEN YOU WALK INTO THE ROOM TOMORROW...20 POINTS

We will then try and simulate on the floor the battle ...???? Colton is going to bring shoe boxes for me!!!

One-Pager for the Battle of Midway is due Monday.

Today we lectured/discussed the background for the battle of Midway...and started the documentary "Yamamoto vs. Nimitz" depicting the battle.  At the end of the period I handed your reading materials for the battle...READ AND STUDY these...

I am assigning a "One-Pager" for the battle of Midway.  The video, the reading materials, the Animated map...as well as the link for the Battle of Midway on the blog.  Due Monday..100 Points

Prompt:  "To what extent is the battle of Midway a significant battle in American History?"

Tomorrow we will finish the video and then head up to library for the Animated Map activity for the battle.

Thursday:  In class we will map out the battle in the room...on the floor...maybe we will break up in teams!
